While running fs_clone , Error 1 occurred while Executing txkADOPValidation script

Error:

[UNEXPECTED]Error occurred running "perl /eigcprod/install/fs1/EBSapps/appl/ad/12.0.0/patch/115/bin/txkADOPValidations.pl  -contextfile=/eigcprod/install/fs1/inst/apps/PROD_airtecapps/appl/admin/PROD_airtecapps.xml -patchctxfile=/eigcprod/install/fs2/inst/apps/PROD_airtecapps/appl/admin/PROD_airtecapps.xml -phase=fs_clone -logloc=/eigcprod/install/fs_ne/EBSapps/log/adop/16/20200921_161649/fs_clone/validate/airtecapps -promptmsg=hide"

    [UNEXPECTED]Error 1 occurred while Executing txkADOPValidation script on airtecapps

[PROCEDURE] [START 2020/09/21 16:17:43] Unlocking sessions table

[STATEMENT] Unlocking ad_adop_sessions table for airtecapps with wait interval of 60 seconds and number of tries 2

Cause:

 Patch filesystem context file doesn't exists in FND_OAM_CONTEXT_FILES Table.

Solution:

To fix this issue upload the missing PATCH context file to the database:

1. Get the value of your patch context file.

   1.1. Source your PATCH file system

   1.2. Echo the value of $CONTEXT_FILE and note down it ( it will be used in step3 )

2. Source the RUN filesystem

3. Execute the following command on the run filesystem to upload the patch context file ( taken in step 1.2 ) to the database.

$ADJVAPRG oracle.apps.ad.autoconfig.oam.CtxSynchronizer \

action=upload \

contextfile=/eigcprod/install/fs2/inst/apps/PROD_airtecapps/appl/admin/PROD_airtecapps.xml \

logfile=/tmp/patchctxupload.log

Note:

ADJVAPRG is a environment variable , so use along with the $ sign - $ADJVAPRG

4. Run the following query and it should return one entry for the recently uploaded context file.

select distinct(PATH) from FND_OAM_CONTEXT_FILES where NAME not in ('TEMPLATE','METADATA','config.txt') and CTX_TYPE='A' and (status is null or upper(status) in ('S','F')) and EXTRACTVALUE(XMLType(TEXT),'//file_edition_type') = 'patch';

output should return patch fs context file..

Thats it. Always enjoy in solving issue :)

- | sort -rnk 1 reverse (r), numeric sort (n) by column 1 (memory)
- | sort -rnk 2 reverse (r), numeric sort (n) by column 2 (cpu)
- | head output the 10 first lines

Cause:-

When running adcfgclone.pl in appstier , above error reported.

This scenario will happens when there is not a sufficient JVM heap size allocated to unpack the file during the clonning process.

Parameter value before the issue:-

CONFIG_JVM_ARGS="-Xmx2048m -Xms1024m"

SOLUTION:

In a terminal export the below values, and again rerun adcfgclone in appstier

Set the environment variable CONFIG_JVM_ARGS with the memory parameters for the JVM. The required memory parameters will vary with the domain configuration.  Tey adjusting the value till you run the adcfgclone.pl smoothly.

export CONFIG_JVM_ARGS="-Xmx3072m -Xms1024m -XX:MaxPermSize=512m -XX:-UseGCOverheadLimit"

Note:- Xmx max value > 4096m

[Troubleshoot Socket:000445] Connection Rejected, Filter Blocked Socket While Accessing EBS R12.2 WebLogic Console

Error:-

While accessing the WebLogic Admin console  http://<url>:7003/console reported with the following error:

“The Server is not able to service this request: [Socket:000445]Connection rejected, filter blocked Socket, weblogic.security.net.FilterException: [Security:090220]rule 2”

Root Cause:-

The error I encountered is due to WebLogic offers a concept called “connection filter“.  Connection filters provide network layer access control and allow the server(s) to block unwanted communication based on different criteria.

You can check the WebLogic connector filter configuration under the config.xml file.

Note: config.xml is a file that contains all the WebLogic configurations

In the above config.xml file, you can see that it is blocking the connection for 0.0.0.0/0 where 0.0.0.0/0 is nothing but public/private internet.

Note: Using Weblogic Connection filter you can also control access to particular IP

Solution:-

1) Open  the config.xml file

     cd $EBS_DOMAIN_HOME/config

2) Backup your config.xml file before making any changes

     eg: $ cp -R config.xml config.xml_bkp

3) Search for connection-filter-rule

4) Change the string “deny” to “allow”

      <connection-filter-rule>0.0.0.0/0 * * deny</connection-filter-rule>

       <connection-filter-rule>0.0.0.0/0 * * allow</connection-filter-rule>

5) Save the config.xml file & bounce the admin server

Now you will be able to access the WebLogic console :)

The DISPLAY environment variable is not set to a valid X-Windows server.

SOLUTION :

Set the environment variable DISPLAY to a valid server, e.g.

$ export DISPLAY=:0.0  ( check vnc server running port , if 1 replace export DISPLAY=:1.0 )

ORA-00257: archiver error. Connect internal only, until freed

Cause:

ORA-00257: Error states that there is an issue in the archiver process to write files in the destination. Normally the cause will be in FRA destination size reached the maximum.

Solution:

1) You can increase the db_recovery_file_dest_size to appropriate size.

Eg:
alter system set db_recovery_file_dest_size = 10G scope=both;

2) Alternatively cleanup the old files to get some free spaces by using rman.

i.e
--> delete old archives and backups from FRA
--> set the db_flashback_retention_target to the approriate values , so that you can gain a space over there.

Note :

Before cleanup the files maksure ,
1)  Those files needed for any future actions
2)  You have taken the valid backup
